Alexios by user9261737

Format: Commander

Commander: Alexios, Deimos of Kosmos

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This is a mono-red chaos-stax deck built around Alexios, Deimos of Kosmos, a commander that passes between players each turn, grows with +1/+1 counters, and attacks every combat. The primary strategy is to deploy mana-denial and land-destruction pieces (Winter Orb, Blood Moon, Ruination) to cripple opponents while Alexios and goad effects (Shiny Impetus, Baeloth Barrityl, Entertainer) force the table into messy combat. The deck can win via an infinite combo (Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker + Zealous Conscripts or Splinter Twin + Zealous Conscripts) or through a massive damage spike from Repercussion following a Blasphemous Act. Secondary win conditions include accumulating treasure tokens for Knuckles the Echidna's 30-artifact alternate condition or simply grinding down life totals with repeated attacks.
