Deck overview

This is a Grixis spellslinger deck helmed by Fire Lord Azula, built to chain cheap instants and sorceries while she attacks. Azula's Firebending produces red mana on attack, and her second ability copies every spell cast while she's attacking - effectively doubling each spell. The deck leans on magecraft engines - Archmage Emeritus for draw, Ashling, Flame Dancer for looting and reach, Storm-Kiln Artist for treasure generation - to chain spells into a critical mass. The primary win is pumped commander damage: Bulk Up, Unleash Fury, and Fists of Flame double Azula's power and grant trample for a one-shot kill. A secondary burn line uses copied Lightning Strikes and Ghostfire Slices to spread damage across the table, and Notion Thief + Windfall provides a massive draw engine to fuel the storm turn.
