Deck overview

Zada, Hedron Grinder leads an explosive mono-red storm and token aggro-combo deck designed to turn cheap single-target cantrips and combat tricks into massive asymmetric advantage. The deck develops a wide board of cheap Goblin tokens during Turns 1 through 3 using cards like Dragon Fodder, Krenko's Command, and Mogg War Marshal. Once Zada enters the battlefield on Turn 4, any 1-mana instant or sorcery targeting Zada copies itself for every creature on your battlefield. This enables explosive Turn 5 storm sequences where spells like Crimson Wisps and Expedite draw 5 to 10 cards for a single red mana. Mana engines like Battle Hymn, Brightstone Ritual, and Storm-Kiln Artist convert the wide board into massive mana reserves, fueling token copiers like Twinflame and lethal pump spells like Fists of Flame. The deck can also execute an alternate infinite win condition via Dualcaster Mage and Twinflame.
