Deck overview

This mono-green deck turns Food tokens into substantial mana acceleration and lethal combat pressure. Led by The Cabbage Merchant, the strategy punishes opponents' noncreature spells by generating Food tokens, which the commander and supporting engines convert directly into mana. Key enablers like Academy Manufactor, Peregrin Took, and Jaheira, Friend of the Forest rapidly expand the token count. This mana surplus fuels high-impact payoffs such as Genesis Wave, Displaced Dinosaurs, and Night of the Sweets' Revenge. The deck reaches its usable engine setup by turn 4 and launches game-ending threats around turn 6. It typically closes out games by turn 8 through overwhelming combat attacks. While resilient against single-target disruption, the deck relies heavily on combat and remains vulnerable to mass artifact and creature board wipes due to limited stack interaction.
