Deck overview

This Selesnya midrange deck leverages Black Panther, Wakandan King and the Earthbend mechanic to store +1/+1 counters safely on lands before transferring them onto creatures for card advantage and combat buffs. Supported by consistent land ramp and counter multipliers like Hardened Scales, Solid Ground, and Doubling Season, the deck accelerates mana development while insulating its primary resource engine against standard creature removal. Once established on Turn 4, it generates steady card flow through Black Panther's activated ability and synergistic draw engines. The midgame focuses on going wide with token generators like Avenger of Zendikar and Felidar Retreat or growing formidable land creatures. It establishes a critical must-answer board state on Turn 6 and closes the game on Turn 7 using mass evasion from Abzan Falconer or decisive overrun effects like Overwhelming Stampede. Turn-phase protection from Kutzil, Malamet Exemplar ensures clean combat execution.
