Saruman 🔵⚫️🔴 by Kaizen

Format: Commander

Commander: Saruman, the White Hand

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Grixis spellslinger deck turns noncreature spells into a single massive Army with Saruman, the White Hand. Saruman amasses Orcs equal to each spell's mana value and gives your Orcs and Goblins ward 2, so you grow one threat while protecting it. Secondary engines create Armies without him - Dreadhorde Invasion, Bothersome Noisemaker, Foray of Orcs - and payoffs like Fiery Inscription, Lord of the Nazgul, and Tellah, Great Sage turn spell volume into burn, Wraiths, and Hero tokens. Mauhur, Uruk-hai Captain acts as a hidden commander, adding an extra counter to every amass. Wins come from combat with a 15+ power Army with trample or incremental burn.
