Deck overview

This deck is a five-color control and midrange deck commanded by Thanos, the Mad Titan and strictly configured to satisfy the companion requirement of Obosh, the Preypiercer, meaning every nonland card has an odd mana value. The strategy leverages early mana fixing and dorks to navigate a tapped-land-heavy mana base, establishing mid-game Villain engines like Baron Strucker, HYDRA Overlord, Prowler, Clawed Thief, and Ultron, Unlimited to generate card filtering and token presence. On Turn 6, the deck transitions into control and pressure by casting Thanos and immediately activating his discounted power-up ability to wipe opposing creature boards. Backed by asymmetric damage doublers like Obosh and Gisela, Blade of Goldnight alongside game-ending threats like Void Winnower and Zacama, Primal Calamity, the deck eliminates all three opponents through high-powered combat damage within two response cycles.
