New Untitled Deck by kentyo

Format: Commander

Commander: Ares, God of War

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Rakdos deck uses Ares, God of War to turn suicide attackers into repeatable pressure. You attack with haste creatures that sacrifice themselves - Ball Lightning, Lightning Skelemental, Aspiring Champion - and Ares returns them to hand when they die attacking, letting you recast them. Sneak Attack acts as a hidden commander, cheating creatures for {R} with haste and feeding the same loop. Secondary paths use treasure engines (Goldspan Dragon, Pitiless Plunderer, Mahadi) and sacrifice outlets (Goblin Bombardment, Ashnod's Altar, Fling effects) for ramp and reach. Wins come from sequential combat damage amplified by Karlach's extra combats and Rankle and Torbran, or direct damage from Juri and Fling.
