Deck overview

This deck is a high-speed Esper combo list built around Queza, Augur of Agonies. While Queza offers incremental life drain and enables a trigger loop with Drogskol Reaver, the deck's primary competitive route centers on Thassa's Oracle paired with Demonic Consultation or Doomsday. An elite mana suite containing Chrome Mox, Mox Diamond, Lotus Petal, and Dark Ritual enables explosive starts, powering out early draw engines like Ad Nauseam, Necropotence, The One Ring, and Rhystic Study. Dense tutor lines ensure rapid access to win conditions by Turn 3. To protect its win turns, the list utilizes Silence, Grand Abolisher, and free countermagic such as Force of Will, Fierce Guardianship, and Pact of Negation. Disruptive permanents like Opposition Agent and Notion Thief punish opposing development while breaking parity on wheel effects.
