🌳👹 [Animar] Extreme Couponer by user9955992

Format: Commander

Commander: Animar, Soul of Elements

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Animar, Soul of Elements is the engine of a +1/+1 counter deck that turns cheap creature chains into massive mana and low spell costs. Most wins come from growing Animar and creature swarm: draw engines like Beast Whisperer, Temur Ascendancy, and Garruk's Uprising fuel an almost free string of creatures, while Herald of Secret Streams or Rogue's Passage makes the giant board unblockable. A secondary line uses Animar's discount to cast Hullbreaker Horror cheaply, then loops Sol Ring through Hullbreaker's triggers for infinite colorless mana and finishes with Hydroid Krasis plus haste attacks. The deck is linear but resilient, with protection spells rather than recursion.
