Commander: Tom Bombadil

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This is a five-color Saga tribal deck built around Tom Bombadil, exploiting his triggered ability to chain sagas from the library. The deck packs 48 sagas and nothing else (save a single Sol Ring and 50 basic lands). The game plan is to cast Tom Bombadil, let the final chapter of each saga resolve, then put another saga from the top of the library onto the battlefield - creating a snowball of value that spits out tokens, removes permanents, recurs cards, and eventually overwhelms opponents through creature combat or a few high-impact sagas like Kiora Bests the Sea God and Fall of the First Civilization. The commander is the sole engine; without him the sagas resolve and fizzle without the chain effect.
