Deck overview

This mono-black Commander deck is piloted by Ghoulcaller Gisa, focusing on Zombie tribal synergies and an aggressive aristocrats strategy. The early game establishes mana development through basic Swamps, mana rocks, and cost reducers such as Jet Medallion and Bontu's Monument. Once Ghoulcaller Gisa enters the battlefield, she converts high-power creatures like Grave Titan and Fleshbag Marauder into large armies of 2/2 Zombie tokens. These tokens trigger powerful draw engines such as Undead Augur and Cryptbreaker while locking down opposing creatures with Dictate of Erebos and Noxious Ghoul. The deck closes games through wide combat swings enhanced by Zombie lords like Death Baron and Undead Warchief, as well as lethal life drain from Blood Artist, Bastion of Remembrance, Ayara, First of Locthwain, and Gray Merchant of Asphodel. Graveyard recursion via Living Death provides resilient mid-to-late game recovery.
