Deck overview

This Golgari deck leverages The Mycotyrant to transform continuous self-mill and graveyard descend triggers into an overwhelming swarm of Fungus tokens and a massive, trampling commander. Supported by efficient green mana dorks and early self-mill engines like Stitcher's Supplier, Life from the Loam, and Ripples of Undeath, the deck rapidly fills its graveyard. Once assembled on Turn 4, it transitions into a potent aristocrats and combat strategy on Turn 5. Tokens serve as repeatable fuel for card draw engines like Skullclamp, ramp engines like Insidious Roots, and life-draining payoffs such as Blood Artist, Bastion of Remembrance, and Syr Konrad, the Grim. The deck finishes opponents through a combination of heavy trample damage and burst drain from mass sacrifice outlets or reanimation spells like Awakening Hall. While vulnerable to mass graveyard exile and lacking stack interaction, its dense recursion ensures resilient mid-game rebuilding.
