Commander: Thorin Oakenshield

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Thorin Oakenshield leads an aggressive Boros dwarf tribal and equipment deck built around historic permanents. The primary game plan is to rapidly assemble at least three historic permanents to unlock an enduring story. Once active, Thorin provides ward one across your artifacts and creatures, granting passive protection to your advancing board. You win by generating wide dwarf armies alongside tall, heavily equipped threats like Excalibur, Sword of Eden or Anduril, Flame of the West. Supplementary burn from Balin, Loremaster and Arbaaz Mir accelerates damage output across all opponents to close out games efficiently.
