Deck overview

This deck is a Grixis edict midrange strategy centered on creature sacrifice and attrition. In the early game, it deploys efficient two-mana artifact ramp to reach its mid-game engine pieces ahead of schedule. The deck controls the board by casting symmetric edict creatures such as Fleshbag Marauder and Demon's Disciple, which trigger payoffs like Mayhem Devil and Morbid Opportunist to clear opposing creatures and generate card advantage. In the late game, the deck leverages large, threatening creatures including Thraximundar, Shredder, Shadow Master, and Grave Titan to convert its board control into decisive combat damage. While the deck dominates creature-heavy matchups through continuous sacrifice triggers and forced combat, it relies on combat damage over multiple turns rather than infinite combos to close the table.
