Water Rising by user7988901

Format: Commander

Commander: Archelos, Lagoon Mystic

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Archelos, Lagoon Mystic leads a flood-control/tempo build that slows opponents with ETB-tapped taxing while the deck ramps through Shrines and landfall. The primary plan is to resolve Stormtide Leviathan or Archetype of Imagination plus a critical mass of islandwalk threats, using Eluge, the Shoreless Sea as a hidden commander to make instant/sorcery setups cheap. A secondary Shrine engine (Sanctum of Fruitful Harvest, Sanctum of Calm Waters, Kyoshi Island Plaza) provides mana and cards. There is no true infinite combo; The Flood of Mars is the actual finishing engine, converting spare utility creatures into unblockable copies, with Colossal Skyturtle and Mystic Sanctuary providing slow recursion.
