Deck overview

This deck is an Abzan +1/+1 counters and graveyard reanimation strategy led by Tayam, Luminous Enigma. The deck leverages Tayam's static ability to place vigilance counters on entering creatures, converting counters into repeatable recursion for permanents with mana value 3 or less. The mana base and ramp curve reliably assemble Tayam on Turn 4, establishing a sustained card advantage engine by Turn 5. The primary win condition centers on a two-card infinite combo between Basking Broodscale and Mazirek, Kraul Death Priest. Sacrificing Eldrazi Spawn tokens triggers Mazirek to add counters across the board, triggering Broodscale to generate new Spawns and yielding infinite colorless mana and infinite +1/+1 counters. Tayam then mills the library and reanimates Duskshell Crawler and Swiftfoot Boots to grant all creatures trample and haste, eliminating all three opponents on Turn 6. The deck defends itself by looping Selfless Spirit, Guardian of Faith, and Spore Frog.
