Radical Raddy by Theverb

Format: Commander

Commander: Radagast of Rhosgobel

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Radagast of Rhosgobel is a support commander who discounts the first creature spell each turn and gives it flash; the deck is not built around him. The primary plan is classic mono-green ramp: accelerate with dorks and rocks, cast high-value creatures, and draw off Beast Whisperer, Guardian Project, or Tribute to the World Tree. It closes with a trampling alpha strike from Craterhoof Behemoth, Earthshaker Giant, and Unnatural Growth. A secondary combo route uses Fanatic of Rhonas, Selvala, or another dork with Staff of Domination and Umbral Mantle to make infinite mana, then draws the deck and mills everyone with Altar of Dementia. Selvala, Heart of the Wilds acts as a pseudo-hidden engine, but no card in the 99 is a true hidden commander.
