Deck overview

This deck is a high-power Simic Ramp and Control strategy built around Koma, Cosmos Serpent. It leverages a dense suite of fast mana rocks, low-cost mana dorks, and land ramp to power out an uncounterable Koma by turn 4. Once on the battlefield, Koma generates a 3/3 Serpent token during every player's upkeep, generating 12 power per rotation while tapping down opposing threats and utility permanents. The deck breaks parity on symmetric lock pieces like Winter Orb and Static Orb by tapping them before its own untap step using Koma's sacrifice ability. A robust suite of free and low-cost countermagic shields Koma from exile and bounce removal, while clone effects and overrun spells like Finale of Devastation and Serpent of Yawning Depths accelerate combat damage to eliminate the table by turn 7.
