Deck overview

This deck is an Izzet spellslinger and storm deck helmed by Lilah, Undefeated Slickshot. Lilah allows you to exile multicolored instant and sorcery spells as they resolve from your hand, plotting them into exile so they can be cast on later turns for zero mana. The deck leverages this ability by spending early turns casting efficient multicolored cantrips, removal, and selection spells to build up a large bank of free spells. On a designated storm turn (typically turn 6), the deck unleashes all plotted spells at once without paying mana costs. This explosive flurry of free spells triggers payoffs like Guttersnipe and Fiery Inscription for direct life loss, Young Pyromancer and Talrand, Sky Summoner for wide token boards, and storm finishers like Elemental Eruption and Stormscale Scion. Additionally, the deck contains an infinite backup combo in Dualcaster Mage and Twinflame.
