Deck overview

This Atraxa, Praetors' Voice deck is a dedicated Superfriends control deck designed to establish a defensive board, generate massive card advantage, and win through overwhelming planeswalker ultimates. By combining pillowfort barriers such as Ghostly Prison and Propaganda with Atraxa's end-step proliferate trigger, the deck rapidly accelerates planeswalker loyalty while keeping opposing attackers at bay. Key multipliers like Doubling Season, Vorinclex, Monstrous Raider, and Oath of Teferi enable planeswalkers to reach game-ending ultimates immediately upon entering the battlefield. The deck maintains control using versatile planeswalker removal abilities and board wipes, while protecting its board state with top-tier defensive spells like Teferi's Protection and Ripples of Potential. Once an ultimate resolves—whether locking opponents out of noncreature spells with Narset Transcendent or generating lethal threats with Vraska—the deck methodically closes out the game over one to two combat rotations.
