Deck overview

This Orzhov lifegain combo deck is piloted by Sorin of House Markov // Sorin, Ravenous Neonate. The deck leverages early lifegain triggers from cards like Soul Warden and Creeping Bloodsucker to quickly transform Sorin into a planeswalker that generates Food, creates board presence, and provides direct removal. The mid-game focuses on card draw engines like The Gaffer, Trouble in Pairs, and Black Market Connections to dig into win conditions while disrupting opponents with efficient spot removal and board sweepers. The deck aims to close the game on Turn 6 by assembling an infinite drain combo using Exquisite Blood or Bloodthirsty Conqueror alongside Sanguine Bond, Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose, or Enduring Tenacity. Once triggered, the loop drains all opponents instantaneously. Heavy redundancy and strong alternative lines like Bolas's Citadel ensure resilience even if the commander is removed.
