Deck overview

This deck utilizes Perrie, the Pulverizer as a Voltron commander fueled by counter diversity. Rather than stacking only +1/+1 counters, the deck spreads numerous distinct counter types—including shield, oil, charge, slumber, valor, page, and keyword counters—across its lands, artifacts, and creatures. When Perrie attacks, it grants trample and a massive power boost scaled to the variety of counters in play. Supported by damage multipliers like Duelist's Heritage and Finest Hour, Perrie can eliminate opponents in single combat steps. Inherent shield counters and engines like The Ozolith and Resourceful Defense keep counters on the board through removal. Backup plans include calling upon Dark Depths to awaken Marit Lage, expanding boards with Ouroboroid, or generating infinite mana through Devoted Druid and Luxior, Giada's Gift. Defensive enchantments like Propaganda and Collective Restraint hold off aggressive boards while Perrie methodically dismantles opponents one by one.
