Deck overview

This mono-black aristocrats list uses Sephiroth, Fabled SOLDIER as an early card engine and life drain outlet. You deploy recurring creatures and token generators to feed sacrifice outlets, draining the table while cycling through your deck. Once four creatures die in a single turn, Sephiroth transforms into Sephiroth, One-Winged Angel, giving you a permanent Super Nova emblem that turns every subsequent creature death across the table into direct life drain. You win by establishing recursive loops like Gravecrawler with Warren Soultrader, casting a lethal Gray Merchant of Asphodel multiple times, or chaining sacrifice engines until opponents hit zero.
