Deck overview

This Orzhov deck is a deathtouch-and-drain midrange strategy helmed by Syr Vondam, the Lucent, whose enters/attacks trigger pumps the entire team with +1/+0 and deathtouch, turning a wide board of small bodies into a trading machine. The deck leans heavily on a dense creature base backed by a genuine recursion package - Zombify, Rite of the Moth, Valgavoth's Faithful, Another Chance, and Hazel's Nocturne - to grind value, while life-gain/life-loss synergies like Enduring Tenacity, Warlock Class, and extort effects convert every spell and swing into table-wide drain. Secondary subthemes include ninjas (Shredder, Unrelenting, Black Widow, Super Spy), artifact creatures, and Rooms. The primary win is combat with deathtouch bodies plus incremental drain; Army of the Damned and Valgavoth, Terror Eater provide finishers. It is a slow, grindy attrition deck rather than a fast combo deck.
