Deck overview

This competitive sans-green Commander deck is led by Jace, Multiverse Architect as a direct polymorph engine. By omitting other creatures and non-engine planeswalkers from the 99, Jace's -3 loyalty ability guarantees hitting Hullbreaker Horror (or Tezzeret, Cruel Captain) when exiling tokens made by cheap instants like Rat Out, Beckon Apparition, and Fungal Infection. Once Hullbreaker Horror enters, bouncing positive-mana rocks generates infinite mana and storm while wiping opposing boards. In parallel, the deck runs the format-defining Underworld Breach, Lion's Eye Diamond, and Brain Freeze storm win condition, alongside Bolas's Citadel, Necropotence, and The One Ring. With thirteen pieces of 0–1 CMC fast mana and ten premium tutors, the deck reliably achieves a Turn 3 assembly and same-turn table elimination through Aetherflux Reservoir or library mill. Backed by free countermagic like Force of Will and proactive protection like Silence, the strategy executes with decisive competitive efficiency.
