Deck overview

This Grixis combat tempo deck leverages Goro-Goro and Satoru to convert cheap, evasive attackers into a rapid, overwhelming air force of 5/5 flying Dragon Spirit tokens. The early game establishes evasive 1-drops such as Changeling Outcast, Slither Blade, and self-bouncing haste creatures like Glitterfang and Reinforced Ronin. By Turn 3–4, casting the commander and attacking with unblocked creatures that entered the battlefield that turn—either via ninjutsu or natural haste—triggers Goro-Goro and Satoru per opponent hit, quickly establishing 5/5 Dragon tokens. Continuous card flow engines like Coastal Piracy, Bident of Thassa, and Ingenious Infiltrator ensure a steady stream of fresh threats and interaction while keeping the hand full. Finishers like Raphael, the Nightwatcher and Dragon Tempest amplify damage output and haste velocity, allowing the Dragon army to overwhelm the table within two combat rotations. The deck operates as an aggressive tempo engine that punishes undefended boards with lethal aerial pressure.
