Deck overview

This deck is a five-color dragon tribal powerhouse piloted by The Ur-Dragon. It leverages eminence to lower the casting cost of all dragon spells straight from the command zone. The deck accelerates through early turns using efficient mana dorks, land-fetch sorceries, and tribal cost-reducers like Dragonspeaker Shaman and Urza's Incubator. By Turn 4, it deploys critical engine pieces such as Miirym, Sentinel Wyrm or Temur Ascendancy. On Turn 5, it transitions into overwhelming offense, dropping massive flying threats that gain haste and trigger burn via Dragon Tempest and Scourge of Valkas. The deck breaks through opposing boards with asymmetric sweepers like Crux of Fate and protects its lethal board using versatile defensive instants like Heroic Intervention and Boros Charm. It reliably closes games on Turn 6 by overwhelming opponents with insurmountable combat damage and token generation.
