Deck overview

This Sultai deck is an explosive landfall mill engine commanded by Homer, the Hermit. The strategy revolves around casting Homer early, copying him with nonlegendary clone effects such as Spark Double, Sakashima of a Thousand Faces, and Roaming Throne, and using mass land recursion spells to mill the entire table in a single turn. Cards like Splendid Reclamation, Aftermath Analyst, and World Shaper return large batches of fetchlands from the graveyard, triggering Homer's landfall ability exponentially. In addition to direct library exhaustion, the deck capitalizes on mass mill through potent reanimation spells including Breach the Multiverse, The Scarab God, and The Master, Transcendent. Defensively, the deck is reinforced by format-staple free countermagic and silence effects like Dosan the Falling Leaf and Veil of Summer, ensuring its combo turn can resolve through opposing interaction.
