Helmed by Gandalf, Goblins' Bane // Flameshape|Gandalf, Goblins' Bane, this mono-red spellslinger deck aims to win through relentless noncombat damage. The commander grows and pings each opponent whenever you cast a noncreature spell, while a stable of cheap pingers (Firebrand Archer, Blisterspit Gremlin, Devoted Duelist) double-trigger on the same spells. The adventure side, Flameshape, exiles the top two cards and lets you play them as long as you control a Wizard - which the commander itself is. Damage is multiplied by Torbran, Thane of Red Fell, Fiery Emancipation, and Artist's Talent's Level 3, turning every ping into a race-ending threat. Secondary paths include an explosive turn from Aetherworks Marvel or Aetherflux Conduit, and a one-time extra turn off Emrakul, the Promised End. The deck relies on a critical mass of instants and sorceries to keep the pings flowing, with card advantage from Light Up the Stage, Cathartic Reunion, and the commander's adventure.
