Deck overview

This Golgari Aristocrats deck leverages Chatterfang, Squirrel General as a token-doubling engine and on-board removal piece while threatening rapid game-ending combos. The primary victory route is the two-card infinite combo between Witherbloom Apprentice and Chain of Smog, which drains the entire table in a single turn as early as Turn 4. Secondary win conditions include infinite token creation via Scurry Oak and Ivy Lane Denizen, as well as aristocrat drain engines powered by Pitiless Plunderer, Warren Soultrader, and Blood Artist. Supported by dense 1–2 CMC mana ramp and a versatile tutor package, the deck transitions smoothly from board development into decisive kill turns. It maintains resilience through cheap instant-speed protection and redundant combo lines that function independently of the commander.
