Commander: Alania, Divergent Storm

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Alania, Divergent Storm leads a UR spells-matter deck built to chain instants and sorceries into exponential copies. The commander provides a free copy of the first instant, first sorcery, and first Otter spell each turn, while the core win is a copy-spell loop (Dual Strike / Teach by Example / Galvanic Iteration + Increasing Vengeance or Insidious Will) that generates infinite copies of a burn spell or infinite Ral, Storm Conduit triggers. Secondary damage comes from Guttersnipe, Coruscation Mage, and Stormsplitter tokens, plus a Grapeshot storm kill. The deck has strong redundancy in enablers and recursion, but its single-tutor search for Increasing Vengeance and a low land count make the combo turn typically turn 6-7.
