Deck overview

This Orzhov deck is commanded by Clavileño, First of the Blessed and operates as an aggressive Kindred Aristocrats engine. The primary game plan revolves around deploying cheap Vampire creatures in the opening turns, casting Clavileño on curve, and attacking each combat step to convert attacking Vampires into Demons with built-in death triggers. Once marked, these creatures are sacrificed to free outlets like Bartolomé del Presidio, High Market, or Skullclamp to draw cards and generate 4/3 flying Vampire Demon tokens. The deck compounds board advantage by combining evasive aerial beatdown with death-trigger life drain from Blood Artist, Cruel Celebrant, Elas il-Kor, Sadistic Pilgrim, and Teysa Karlov. Support pieces such as Cordial Vampire and Edgar, Charmed Groom amplify creature stats, while efficient removal spells like Swords to Plowshares and Anguished Unmaking answer opposing threats. Without relying on infinite combos, the deck achieves victory through relentless attrition, evasive combat damage, and aristocrat drain cycles.
