Deck overview

Smaug, Wicked Worm is a Rakdos Treasure-and-amass midrange deck. Smaug converts the artifacts opponents play into tapped Treasures on entry, then turns every Treasure-funded spell into a cantrip at the cost of 1 life. The shell is a Goblin/Orc Army package: roughly a dozen amass effects build a single huge Army, token makers like Siege-Gang Commander and Gothmog, Morgul Lieutenant provide bodies, and The Reaver Cleaver, Smaug the Magnificent, and Cavern-Hoard Dragon keep Treasures flowing. The primary kill is a large Assault on Osgiliath, giving the Army double strike and haste, backed by Scourge of the Throne for an extra combat, while Mirkwood Bats, Guttersnipe, and The Great Goblin chip the table in parallel. There are no infinite combos; the deck wins through repeatable combat and drain, with a small Living Death/Reanimate reanimation package as a board-reset backup.
