Deck overview

This deck is an Esper draw-and-drain combo list commanded by Queza, Augur of Agonies. The primary strategy focuses on converting high card velocity into board pressure and life disparity, culminating in an infinite drain loop with Exquisite Blood or an explosive burst via Peer into the Abyss. Supported by a healthy suite of two-mana mana rocks and cheap card selection spells, the deck consistently deploys Queza or a value engine by Turn 4. It defends its board using efficient single-mana protection spells like Blacksmith's Skill and Slip Out the Back alongside versatile countermagic. While the deck possesses massive redundancy for lifegain drain effects, finding Exquisite Blood represents the primary bottleneck due to a reliance on delayed tutors and raw draw power. On Turn 6, the deck reliably initiates its winning sequence, draining all opponents to zero in a single turn.
