Krenko, Mob Boss \ Tribal Goblins by takomi

Deck overview

The deck's main plan is to establish Krenko, Mob Boss with haste and a few Goblins, then turn each activation into a rapidly growing board. Goblin Warchief, Goblin Chieftain, Rising of the Day, and Lightning Greaves provide haste, while Goblin Matron, Goblin Recruiter, and Gamble improve access. The strongest finishes combine the tokens with Shared Animosity, Coat of Arms, Purphoros, God of the Forge, Impact Tremors, or Goblin War Strike. Mana can scale sharply through Skirk Prospector, Brightstone Ritual, Battle Hymn, and Mana Echoes. The deck usually assembles around turn 5, creates a must-answer board around turn 6, and needs further combats or damage conversions through about turn 8. It has useful artifact and permanent interaction, but little broad stack interaction and limited protection against sweepers. Its strongest lines are powerful when uninterrupted, yet they depend on a creature board and several vulnerable permanents.
