Deck overview

Ayara, First of Locthwain leads a mono-black aristocrats deck that wins by looping recursive creatures through free sacrifice outlets and draining the table. Ayara acts as both payoff and card draw, turning every black creature entry and death into life loss. The main engine uses Gravecrawler, Reassembling Skeleton, Bloodghast and Nine-Lives Familiar with Warren Soultrader, Pitiless Plunderer, Ashnod's Altar, Viscera Seer and Carrion Feeder to generate infinite deaths for Blood Artist, Zulaport Cutthroat, Bastion of Remembrance and Syr Konrad. Secondary wins come from Gray Merchant devotion bursts with Mikaeus and Yawgmoth, and Bloodchief Ascension plus The Master of Lake-town mill. Yawgmoth, Thran Physician serves as hidden commander, providing removal, draw and combo assembly.
