Deck overview

This deck is a high-velocity Izzet spellslinger and storm-burn strategy commanded by Vivi Ornitier. Vivi serves as both an escalating burn engine and a potent mana battery: each noncreature spell cast places a +1/+1 counter on Vivi and deals 1 damage to each opponent, while its {0} tapless ability generates mana equal to its power once each turn. The deck accelerates through early turns with efficient mana rocks, cost reducers like Goblin Electromancer, and low-cost cantrips to curate its hand. On Turn 4–5, the deck transitions into critical onset by chaining rituals, draw engines like Archmage Emeritus or Curiosity, and secondary burn payoffs like Guttersnipe and Fiery Inscription. This explosive spell flurry heavily depletes opposing life totals before closing the game on Turn 6 with a massive Chandra's Ignition or overloaded Mizzix's Mastery. A lean suite of 1–2 CMC counters and creature removal protects the engine.
