Deck overview

This deck is a Gruul Dragon-tribal stompy engine led by Ganax, Astral Hunter and Acolyte of Bahamut. The strategy centers on accelerating into high-impact Dragon threats ahead of curve. Acolyte of Bahamut reduces the cost of the first Dragon spell cast each turn by two mana, allowing Ganax, Astral Hunter to enter on Turn 3. Once on the battlefield, Ganax generates a Treasure token whenever a Dragon enters, producing a compounding mana loop that fuels subsequent 6-drop and 7-drop Dragons on Turn 4 and Turn 5. The deck overwhelms opponents with massive aerial combat damage powered by finishers like Atarka, World Render, Utvara Hellkite, and Lathliss, Dragon Queen, alongside direct burn from Terror of the Peaks and Scourge of Valkas. It also harbors an infinite token loop with Draconic Visitor. While highly explosive in creature combat, the deck has limited instant-speed interaction and remains vulnerable to board wipes.
