New Untitled Deck by user6547021

Format: Commander

Commander: Nicol Bolas

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This deck is a Grixis discard-control build helmed by the original Nicol Bolas, aiming to strip opponents' hands while generating incremental advantage through punish effects like Megrim and Liliana's Caress. The primary game plan is to deploy early discard creatures (Hypnotic Specter, Burglar Rat) and wheels (Windfall, Magus of the Wheel) to empty hands, then grind out card advantage with Rhystic Study, Syphon Mind, and reanimation spells. Finishers include Torment of Hailfire for massive life loss, Bolas's Citadel for top-deck cheating, and reanimation of high-impact threats like Thraximundar or Kroxa, Titan of Death's Hunger. The deck does not rely on its commander for its core strategy-Nicol Bolas is an expensive, optional beater that adds pressure but is not essential.
