Deck overview

This Izzet competitive Commander deck pairs Malcolm, Keen-Eyed Navigator and Kediss, Emberclaw Familiar to create an explosive turbo-combo strategy. The primary game plan accelerates out Malcolm on Turn 1 or 2, connects with Kediss to generate three Treasure tokens simultaneously, and immediately deploys Glint-Horn Buccaneer on Turn 3. When Glint-Horn attacks, its activated ability discards and draws cards while dealing damage to all opponents, triggering Malcolm to create enough Treasures to sustain an infinite loop that eliminates the table on the spot. If the primary creature combo is contested, the deck seamlessly transitions into redundant Pirate-pinger lines with Reckless Fireweaver and Blades of Velis Vel, Underworld Breach storm lines, or a Niv-Mizzet, Parun draw lock. Backed by a premier suite of free counterspells and proactive protection, the deck reliably attempts protected wins on Turns 3 to 4.
