Deck overview

The deck's central plan is to accelerate its land count, cast Tatyova, Benthic Druid, and turn each later land into cards and life. Ramp creatures and spells provide strong mana development, while Lotus Cobra, Rampaging Baloths, Zendikar's Roil, and Sporemound convert landfall into additional mana or bodies. Damia, Sage of Stone is a secondary refill engine, and large spells such as Villainous Wealth, Mass Manipulation, Empty the Pits, and Finale of Devastation are late-game payoffs. The deck usually reaches an operational Tatyova setup around turn 5 and a credible must-answer board or engine around turn 7. Its main limitation is closing power: it can create substantial advantage but has no compact, tutor-dense win line, infinite combo, or total lockout. Interaction and protection are present but compete with the deck's expensive development plan.
