Morophon v.1 by user3868577

Format: Commander

Commander: Morophon, the Boundless

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This deck is a 5-color Elemental tribal build centered around Morophon, the Boundless, which reduces the colored mana cost of Elemental spells and provides a global +1/+1 anthem for the tribe. The primary plan is to accelerate land drops, create a rich multicolor permanent base, and then exploit the "Vivid" keyword - cards like Explosive Prodigy, Prismabasher, and Squawkroaster that scale with the number of colors you control. Secondary paths involve landfall triggers from cards like Omnath, Locus of Rage, Omnath, Locus of Creation, and Risen Reef to generate tokens, card draw, and burn damage. The deck can also utilize alternative cost reducers - Jodah, Archmage Eternal and Fist of Suns - effectively allowing free casting of Elemental spells when combined with Morophon. Wins are typically via overwhelming combat, raw token swarms, or catch-all burn from landfall loops.
