Deck overview

This deck is a high-velocity Grixis Spellslinger combo engine piloted by Fire Lord Azula. Azula generates mana and duplicates any spell cast while attacking, turning ordinary cantrips, rituals, and removal spells into double-value plays during combat. The core game plan focuses on rapid mana acceleration through low-cost artifacts and burst rituals, aggressive library filtering via deep cantrips, and decisive infinite combos. Its premier win condition is the compact Dualcaster Mage plus Twinflame pairing, which generates an infinite army of hasty attackers for an immediate same-turn kill. Redundant backup win conditions include Underworld Breach storm lines with Brain Freeze and Grapeshot, as well as Isochron Scepter with Dramatic Reversal. A strong suite of 1-mana counterspells and proactive protection like Defense Grid shields combo turns against opposing interaction, while graveyard recursion guarantees rapid recovery after disruption.
