Dark Elves by Caszra

Format: Commander

Commander: Lathril, Blade of the Elves

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This is a classic Golgari Elfball deck helmed by Lathril, Blade of the Elves. The plan is straightforward: flood the board with Elf mana dorks and token producers, cast Lathril, and convert combat damage into an ever-growing army of 1/1 Elf Warriors. Lords, anthems, and finishers such as Overwhelming Stampede, Coat of Arms, Beastmaster Ascension, and a lethal Finale of Devastation turn the swarm sideways for multiplayer kills. Lathril's activated ability (tap ten Elves to drain 10 from each opponent) provides a non-combat win once the board is wide enough. The deck leans on dense tribal synergy, efficient ramp, and creature-based card advantage rather than infinite combos, playing as a midrange go-wide strategy that snowballs through combat and token multiplication.
