Deck overview

This Rakdos deck is a damage-based control/combo strategy helmed by Kazarov, Sengir Pureblood. The primary plan is to deploy symmetrical damage engines (Pestilence, Pyrohemia, Crypt Rats) and board wipes to control the table while growing Kazarov into a massive flyer. The deck also contains several compact infinite combos-most notably Toralf, God of Fury + Solphim, Mayhem Dominus and Repercussion + Blasphemous Act-that can eliminate all opponents in a single turn. Kazarov serves as a resilient value engine that accrues counters from the deck's damage theme and can direct damage with its activated ability, but the deck's real power lies in the 99, making it capable of winning without ever casting the commander.
