Deck overview

This deck is a synergistic Jund -1/-1 counters and aristocrats engine commanded by Auntie Ool, Cursewretch. The strategy revolves around converting -1/-1 counters into immense card advantage, token armies, and asymmetric board control. Early turns focus on mana acceleration with cards like Ignoble Hierarch, Channeler Initiate, and Arcane Signet to deploy Auntie Ool on Turn 4. From there, engines like Hapatra, Vizier of Poisons and Yawgmoth, Thran Physician generate overwhelming card flow and Snake tokens while eroding opposing life totals. The primary win condition centers on the infinite loop between Blowfly Infestation and Hapatra, Vizier of Poisons, which continually creates and sacrifices 1/1 Snake tokens to trigger death drains from Bastion of Remembrance, Nadier's Nightblade, or Poison-Tip Archer. In parallel, Kulrath Knight and wither effects lock opponents out of combat, allowing the deck to dominate the midgame and decisively close on Turn 6.
