Deck overview

This Gruul deck turns traditional mana dorks into massive combat threats and mana engines under Raggadragga, Goreguts Boss. The game plan opens with 1-CMC and 2-CMC mana producers on the first two turns, leading to a Turn 3 Raggadragga cast. The commander immediately provides a +2/+2 static buff to all mana-producing creatures and untaps them whenever they attack, generating extreme mana velocity and combat pressure. Power-scaling creatures like Viridian Joiner, Heronblade Elite, and Fanatic of Rhonas tap for 3 to 4 mana right away, allowing the deck to cast game-ending 7+ mana spells by Turn 4. Big spells such as Craterhoof Behemoth, Tooth and Nail, Zopandrel, Hunger Dominus, and Kamahl, Heart of Krosa trigger Raggadragga's secondary ability, giving a creature +7/+7 and trample. Supported by dense instant-speed protection, the deck quickly closes out the game through overwhelming trample damage across Turns 4 and 5.
