New Zara by pappa80

Format: Commander

Commander: Zara, Renegade Recruiter

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Zara, Renegade Recruiter leads a Wizard-heavy theft deck that wins by stealing opponents' best creatures and turning them against their owners. The primary plan uses Zara's attack trigger for temporary theft plus permanent steal effects like Sower of Temptation, Mind Flayer, Willbreaker, Vedalken Shackles and Control Magic to build a board of opponents' threats. Secondary paths use Wizard synergies (Naban, Azami, Galecaster Colossus) for card draw and bounce control, and Corrupted Conscience to threaten infect kills. Zara acts as repeatable value engine, not a combo piece. Willbreaker functions as a hidden commander, turning every targeting spell or ability into permanent theft.
