Deck overview

This is a mono-black aristocrats combo deck helmed by Sephiroth, Fabled SOLDIER / Sephiroth, One-Winged Angel. The core plan is to deploy cheap sacrifice-fodder creatures, pump the death-trigger count with multiple drain effects (Blood Artist, Zulaport Cutthroat, Bastion of Remembrance), and assemble any of the deck's deep library of infinite combos - the most compact being Gravecrawler + Phyrexian Altar + a drain trigger, or the Sanguine Bond / Exquisite Blood loop. The commander's front side draws cards on attack/ETB while advancing the drain clock, and its back side supercharges every death trigger. The deck wins through repeated sacrifice loops: each iteration spends mana or life to produce a death, and each death rackets the life total of the entire table.
